In my view, the Nairobi governorship is just as important as the presidency. From next year, City Hall should be run by a competent team with the discipline of a high-performing company, guided by clear OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), measurable targets, and a culture of accountability. Nairobians should receive monthly public progress reports showing what has been achieved, where targets were missed, why, and what adjustments will be made. That’s how trust is built and how a city moves from promises to performance. We must come together and make Nairobi the most liveable city in Africa.
