The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) prepared a Manual on Safety and Security of Children in School It focuses on creating safe environment for children and for their protection against any kind of abuse/ violence, psycho-social issues and disasters. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have circulated the Manual in all its affiliated schools . So far, 99 awareness programmes have been conducted on the said topic.

NCPCR Chairperson Shri @KanoongoPriyank chaired a review meeting today regarding rescue operations conducted on 07/06/2024 in 10 locations across the West & North West Districts of Delhi. During this operation, 21 children, most of whom were allegedly trafficked, were rescued.
