An ideal of beauty, the Elf of the River reminds me of Jung’s Anima. But perhaps that resemblance is itself another of CODO’s false paths. Some things in Askedon seem designed to be misread.
If you want to read my retrospective series on this obscure game, you can... 1/2

Totally my fault, failed to understand how opening pages on KS works, the announcement/landing page will have to wait probably until next week now :(

I am glad you liked the decorative elements, because I have already designed a lot of them:) Decorative but not without lore implications! The tales in the book itself will help deciphering them, but then again, that is not necessary to enjoy the story.

But it would be a mistake to consider the Holy Moon a realm solely haunted by somber legends. Fortunately, it is also inhabited by gentle maidens unburdened by the obligation of modest dress. May they be praised for the solace they bring, for surely, they hide nothing!

"It was thought that the battle would do nothing but irritate the underground lords of the Holy Moon, yet Dardanus roused me to witness a vision that defied all expectations. The grand tents of Oasis Leuconoe had finally risen. Their splendor and radiance left me incredulous."

It will be an act against the Will of the Cosmos itself to rt my work, a despicable show of hybris and debauchery

@Haematinon Signing up for hybris points and debauchery!

Simple mentorship demo, I can't remember if I have shared it with you already :D

A Knight must abhor ignorance and despise anything that clouds the mind or binds the spirit. He must be free from the Elemental Prison and act, as the humans of old, as a vessel for the Spirits. He must appreciate Sacrifice.

"Then grant me the amber-skinned Ule, your daughter, and allow me to lie with her, to wed her, and take her to the Realm above where I dwell." // Created for the Fragments of the Past TTRPG

Fresco detail from Fragments of the Past, funerary Etoi ritual of Epizephrya, most likely influenced by Kokhlidoi artistic production.

[Max Haematinon Nigro @Haematinon]

But not even the Iskuzai war horns filled the Etoi with horror as much as the spread of the Three Dolphins heresy; to them, an invading people seemed less perilous than something that could devour their entire system of belief.

Many new fans ask about Fragments of the Past, what is exactly, how it was conceived, and why I decided to create it. Here is a small 🧵about the birth of the world transfixed by the light of a fierce sun and cradled by twin verdant moons.

[Max Haematinon Nigro @Haematinon]

If I could only rise just a little more.

[Max Haematinon Nigro @Haematinon]

In the dark, depths of a still pond we see birth. In the exuberance of Spring love the tangle of death: everything that is, is in reverse. What is obscure, it is clear, what is in plain sight, it is hidden.

Studies of some time ago, I often write some thoughts after a session, usually complaining about something :D here, I wrote: "Drawing is difficult; I wonder if I have a particular lack of predisposition for it."
