v0.27.0 adds durable OpenAI Codex token refresh.

Rotated access and refresh tokens are encrypted in Postgres, survive restarts, and are coordinated across workers to prevent duplicate refreshes.

[Deputies @DevDeputies]

v0.26.0 now has a native diff viewer! 🎉

Multi-repo codebase environments now available (as of yesterday's v1.16.0 release)!

Define an environment with 1 or more repositories + default branches and then use it in sessions OR automations and the repos will be set up for working across all of them!

Another install in the wild! 📈

[Maxi Ferreira @charca]

Got a couple of days off this week to play with some new tech!

First order of business, set up background agents with @DevDeputies by @sidpalas

[Deputies @DevDeputies]

Just shipped some big quality of life improvements for teams using Deputies!

- Actual session search using pg_trgm
- Tags for sessions
- Filters on tags (+ user bookmarks/interactions)

[Sid Palas @sidpalas]

One historical gap in @DevDeputies has been that to connect to external data sources, users needed to add custom tools (fork the codebase)

@RhysSullivan's executor․sh changes that!

v0.14.0 adds docs to use Executor to wire up ALL OF THE TOOLS! (Notion MCP shown as an example)

I just released full AWS deployment support for @DevDeputies 🚀

Run everything in your own AWS account:

- ECS or EKS control plane
- Lambda microVM sandboxes
- Bedrock models
- RDS database
- S3 object storage

Open source background agents, fully self-hosted on AWS!

[Sid Palas @sidpalas]

Excited to add this as a sandbox provider for @DevDeputies !

It will enable a fully AWS deployment for teams who don’t want their data to leave the VPC!

ECS control plane
RDS database
Lambda microVM sandboxes
Bedrock Inference

🚀

Dev Deputies is a new open source control plane for coding agents. Unlike terminal CLIs, these agents run in cloud sandboxes and wake up or sleep when they’re done working.

Each thread on @DevDeputies runs on isolated sandboxes, unlocking unlimited scale for coding.

I stood up a public demo instance of @DevDeputies at:

Go break it!

(but if you do manage to break it, please let me know 🙏)

[Sid Palas @sidpalas]

We’re so back!
