Devil in New England

Here for hockey / #NJDevils / From the Meadowlands / Devils since the 90s

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

Manifesting a 3rd period comeback! #njdevils

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@JMC9787 I think it totally got weird after the Olympics. Weren’t there rumors he was getting death threats?

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

Every #njdevils fan in his comments telling him no devils fan (maybe a very very small minority) thinks this… yet he still believes no one is happy.

[Paul Figler @Paul_Figler]

Best part of this trade is seeing the meltdown on both sides.

The Jets were forced to trade Helle. Our fans are upset they "didn't get a first-round pick". The Devils weren't forced to do anything, and their fans think they got fleeced for trading away Mercer and Command.

HAHA

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

With Fitz, this logic was fucking stupid because Fitz was stupid. With Mehta, however, he’s actually set it up for Quinn to seriously doubt re-signing, and just waiting to be a UFA.

[Lou @NJDevils26]

@Jessemedscience Why would the devils send Bratt when Quinn could come here for nothing in July.

[Jeff Marek @JeffMarek]

Mehta mentions that public models used to evaluate goalie performance are different than the 14 (!) different expected goals models his staff uses.

[Fred Peters @16Dubb]

@thesheethockey @JeffMarek @zackphill @SIASport Jeff didn’t Quinn say no to an extension last year in Detroit - his hometown - to play with Larkin?

So now Larkin is such a pull that it takes him from his brothers and now summer lake buddy and the place he voluntarily spent the whole summer in? I don’t get it

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@keldev03 @Nova_NJ27 It’s also not that deep

[Nova @Nova_NJ27]

We need Quinn more than ever. I want to be the most hated team by the commie Canadians. #NJDevils

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

Hopefully you mean these are the available assets and not the assets you’d give up just to get QH.

[Pucks and Pitchforks @pitchforkedpuck]

Two firsts, Anton Silaev, Brenden Dillon, Anthony Mantha, and Lenni Hameenaho

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@RachelMHerzog

[Fred Peters @16Dubb]

@TalkinDevils82 Not about the franchise, all about the leader. Last year it was a rudderless ship. Floating into the night with the captain too terrified to even take the wheel. Now they have a boss in the seat. Night and day. Child vs adult

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@JFreshHockey how good are you? I mean seriously. no bias. how good are you?

[Steve Werier @stevewerier]

So, to rewind a bit…

Utah needs a #1 goalie

Utah has lots of picks & prospects

Utah has a young, two-way, Canadian born centre off to a strong start who the Jets would surely covet (Barrett Hayton)

But Utah is blocked from trading him because he was offer sheeted by….

[Jesse @Jman220_]

Team USA vs team Switzerland next year is just gonna be a devils practice lol #NJDevils

[Stan @Stan140551]

@ACoronaNJD Meanwhile, Fitzgerald would have still been asking around for Chevy’s phone number

[Brian Callow @Bcallow_74]

Its all on the players now..no more excuses from this core..your GM just went out and got you an elite goalie...

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@bruins22_ Helle yeah!!!

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

Holy fucking shit

[New Jersey Devils @NJDevils]

RAISE HELLE!

Connor Hellebuyck is a New Jersey Devil: https://t.co/HCehRGOQI5

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@AndrewTimoni LOLZ

[Andrew Timoni 🇺🇸🇮🇹 @AndrewTimoni]

Dano- "Babcock!!"

Don (confused)- "what's that?"

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

@Skiztastic1 Lucky you! I had to use a different “service.”

[Devil in New England @DevInNewEngland]

What fucking regional restrictions?? I’m in Massachusetts! #njdevils #nhl
