🚨 One thing I want to make very clear is that I’m not claiming that the Indian government has officially accepted Apple’s photos or videos as digital evidence.

What I’m talking about is a possible direction for the future.

Courts and law-enforcement agencies ultimately have to deal with evidence that can be authenticated and independently verified. So, if Apple provides a photo or video whose authenticity can be established through proper evidence and forensic testing, there is no inherent reason why lawyers or courts couldn’t use or debate that material as part of a case.

Over time, something like this could potentially become another standard way of establishing whether an incident actually happened or not.

And in India, where street fights, disputes between people, family conflicts, domestic violence, and countless other everyday incidents happen regularly, it’s not difficult to imagine people using such technology as a form of verifiable evidence in their daily lives.

So the point I’m making is a projection of where this technology could potentially take us, not a claim that this is already the law or that the Indian government has officially accepted it.
