I didn’t expect to love psych so much!
Personalities: So in love with the residents/attendings.
Best part: giving patients the time, respect, and empathy they may have never gotten before 🫶🏼
So bummed that it’s over!

Underrated life advice: Become easier to impress. Be amazed by a beautiful sunrise. A great conversation. A good cup of coffee. A long walk. A laugh with friends. The people who find joy in small things end up finding joy in a lot more things.
Young people are always told what not to do. But what should you do?
Did you know that most public libraries have a Nintendo Switch to use? That parks show free movies at night? That there's a map of pickup basketball games?

Because public programs mean nothing if you don't know how to access them. 
Proud to be an alumni of CUNY - does far more for social mobility than other "prestigious" schools.
As someone who studied at both CUNY and UPenn, I can say I met some incredibly bright minds at both places. But, CUNY does not get nearly enough of its much-deserved recognition.
The college that does the most to lift poor kids into the middle class probably isn't one you've heard of. It's not Harvard. It's not MIT. It might be a CUNY campus.
This is appalling.
I am a US medical grad who works with IMGs every day—many had to work twice as hard just to get here: more exams, visa hurdles, fewer opportunities.
They’re not taking shortcuts, they’re overcoming barriers.
And our healthcare system depends on them.
This kind of rhetoric is ignorant and racist
