Great for Tech fans short term, but this just delays the inevitable.

The NCAA case resumes after the season, so any NFL team drafting him is inheriting a massive distraction + likely suspension cloud into his rookie year.

He’d be smarter sitting out now, taking the punishment head-on, and entering the league with a clean slate.

A surprise: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby has been granted the injunction he requested by a judge in District Court in Lubbock County, Texas, per @PeteThamel.

Sorsby is now expected to be eligible for the 2026 college football season and will not have to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft.
