Yesterday’s Q-Day Summit left me thinking about crypto a little differently.

We talk a lot about price, speed, fees, and adoption.

But the bigger question is:

Will today’s blockchains still be secure in the next era of computing?

At Q-Day, builders and cryptographers came together to talk about the quantum threat to crypto, and the message was clear:

Crypto is not doomed.But it cannot afford to wait.

Wallets, bridges, multisigs, governance systems, and public keys on-chain may all need to evolve with post-quantum security.

The future will reward the ecosystems that prepare early.

One thing that could help protect against this is using a hardware wallet like Trezor, because it keeps your private keys offline and forces you to physically confirm every transaction before it goes through.
