There’s truth to any perspective, it’s a matter of what you value and the long term. Sure I’m tied down, but I haven’t lost any freedom, it just looks different.

@geerlingguy Awesome! I wish this was years ago, then I wouldn’t have needed to build my huge fractal case server for TrueNAS. However, this feels like potentially an opportunity for a good backup offsite NAS to compliment my existing one!

@piit79 @geerlingguy @ferrari955 Yup that’s enough, and by that I assume you mean public IP that’s not CG NAT. A persistent keep alive from the endpoint w/o public IP to the one with public IP gets you a useable tunnel.

@geerlingguy @joeroganhq To that point, they’ve basically all but abandoned search as a means to find videos. This bleeds into how creators make content, they’re incentivized to create recommended content, not searched. Unfortunately, they think they know what you’re searching for, better than you do.

@geerlingguy @joeroganhq From what I’ve learned about YouTube. This doesn’t surprise me. It’s really not a platform to find videos through search. Rather it’s become a platform to discover videos based on their perception of what you like. Their recommendation engine is the brains, they want to suggest.

@SfaraVO Only considering the length of the VO (no pre or post processing), that’s $8.30 an hour, below minimum wage in most states. With pre / post work, you’re looking at well below $5 an hour. Absolutely mind boggling of a valuation.
