There are media reports that Tamil Nadu government has explicitly told public work contractors and real estate builders not to pay any money for their party and quote only actuals.

President of the Tamil Nadu PWD Engineering Contractors Association, has publicly confirmed that contractors are now being told they no longer need to pay any commissions or bribes.

Real estate builders sources also confirm the development.

If this is something which is implemented and maintained, huge progress in terms of probity in public life.

Have you ever wondered where the word Assassination came from ?

Mohammed died and his followers split into 2. Those who believed his successor should come from the larger Muslim community - the Sunnis and those who believed his successor should be from Mohammed’s direct blood line - the Shias. But another group emerged which rejected both the claims. That group wanted Ismail - bin - Jafar who was seventh in line of succession to Mohammed be ordained the successor. They were called The Ismaili Shias.

Now both the Sunnis and the Shias started targeting this smaller group of Ismailis and they were persecuted for years until their hero emerged , Hasan -I - Sabbah , this man took the Ismailis to the top of one of the mountains of Persia and built a formidable castle , there he had a basement which was reserved for training his warriors. His followers were trained to be fanatic loyalists. And to get them to be focused , he regularly made them consume opium mixed with Hashish and lysergic acid amide - ( something similar to LSD ). This drug potion kept the warriors in a state of drugged mode , they feared none and were focused on killing their enemy with precision.

When the Christian crusaders came in 1095 ad , the ismaili Shias turned against them. The warriors killed newly declared Christian king of Jerusalem Sir Conrad Montferrat, since then the warriors were called Hashishia- those Ismaili Shias who were constantly consuming Hashish , the Europeans spelled it ad hashashin which then became Assassin . The warriors were exterminated by man who was worse than them , Genghis Khan. But the term assassin remained.

#Politics 👉 Interesting timing in Tamil Nadu politics.

On the very day Annamalai chose to walk his own political path and spoke warmly about Superstar Rajinikanth, recalling how he respectfully declined opportunities elsewhere and instead chose the BJP, a new development emerged from the Rajini camp itself.

Latha Rajinikanth has now launched Makkal Medai, reviving discussions around the vast social and political network that once existed under the Rajini banner.

Back in 2020, the political journeys of Rajinikanth and Annamalai moved in different directions. Annamalai entered active politics through the BJP, while Rajinikanth eventually stepped away from electoral politics and dissolved the Rajini Makkal Mandram.

But politics has a way of reopening chapters that many assume are closed.

Annamalai has consistently maintained his admiration and respect for Rajinikanth. Latha Rajinikanth's latest initiative has now sparked a fresh question: could the divergence of 2020 gradually evolve into a convergence by 2026, with larger implications for 2031?
