Btw this is the video. They either want us to share F1 content or not - this ain't pick and mix counter.
From the takedown notice: "This is a serious matter causing, or likely to cause, significant loss to our client." In what way? Showing lack of finesse from your champion?
Nike spent millions on “Breaking2,” an attempt to break the 2 hour marathon by Eliud Kipchoge.
Kipchoge did it in Nikes in 2019, but it was with lazers and pacemakers. It didn’t count.
Today, 2 men do it officially. Both in adidas. The hits keep coming.
"When Jehan raced, India dreamed!"
I definitely did, after all, @DaruvalaJehan was India's best bet to racing in Formula 1 for many years.
Thank you for the memories, and for letting me dream with you!
Jehan is India's most-successful single-seater racer in recent times. His junior formula racing career is second to none*. He left no stone unturned in achieving his dreams on-track.
Jehan's victory shots, podium moments, especially the tiranga (tricolour) waving with the Indian National anthem - the Jana Gana Mana - playing in the background. These were the kind of WhatsApp forwards I didn't mind!
India celebrated Motorsport in the digital era thanks to Jehan's achievements on-track.
Jehan was the lone-standing member of the Force India Driver Academy that I was entrusted to run by @TheVijayMallya.
Our dream was clear - Formula 1, and Jehan had what it took. This is also why Red Bull's Dr. Helmut Marko signed him as a junior driver in Formula 2.
And Jehan almost made it, had it not been for repeated mechanical issues in Formula 2.
(It's strange that India's repeated attempts end at the Formula 2 step)
The chequered flag has fallen on Jehan Daruvala's competitive racing career!
It's been in the making since many months, but it's finally official. Jehan switches lanes to join his family business - Sterling & Wilson.
He will continue to apply lessons learned on the race track in the company's boardrooms. He's got a wonderful family that has supported him all along, and they've been instrumental in this next step.
Keep racin'!
Why did the USAF bomb Ducati's Borgo Panigale factory in 1944? Because Ducati was making these hi-tech Bimar (binocolo marino) binoculars for the German navy
🚨 A WILD STAT - The last four drivers who qualified on pole at the next race immediately after their maiden pole:
• Kimi Antonelli (2026)
• Lewis Hamilton (2007)
• Michael Schumacher (1994)
• Ayrton Senna (1985)
That's some legendary company to be in.
McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton was on the podium for Nico Rosberg's first win.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was on the podium for George Russell's first win.
Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton was on the podium for Kimi Antonelli's first win.
Timeless.
