The willful disregard she displays by dumping out the trash on the street so that she can steal the trash can is sociopathic. Everyone around is staring at her in disbelief, yet, at no time did she consider the impact on her career and the morality clause she’s violating.
Have you ever watched your life fall apart — piece by piece — and been completely powerless to stop it?
My name is Nermeen, a displaced girl from Gaza, and I never imagined I’d be sharing my family’s story like this. But when your world is reduced to a tent and survival becomes your only goal, you start hoping that maybe, someone out there will listen.
We’ve been living through a brutal war for nearly two years now. My family has been displaced more than 13 times. We’ve lost our home, our safety, and any sense of normal life. Today, we live in a tent — a thin sheet between us and the sky, with no electricity, no clean water, and barely any food.
Everything is expensive beyond reason. A few vegetables or a sack of flour costs more than we can afford. Medicine? Out of reach. Clean water? Scarce. We’re not living — we’re just surviving.
But we don’t want to just survive anymore. We want to live. To get out. To find safety. But leaving Gaza costs between 5,000 to7,000 per person — a number that feels impossible in our situation.
This is why I’m asking for your help. Your donation can feed us, treat us, and maybe even save us. It’s not just money — it’s hope. It’s a lifeline.
Please, help us take one step closer to safety.
From the bottom of my heart — please don’t look away.
