Heartbreaking but honestly? We were last place in our division last year, majority of our top guys spent weeks on the IL this season, and we just took the fucking dodgers to extras in game 7 of the World Series! It’s been a very special season and I’m so happy I got to enjoy it!
You’re either playing one position or two, not both. I’m fine with the extra time but then you’re not batting once you’re pulled from the mound. If you want to keep batting then you’re playing two positions and you’ve got to be ready in the same time as everyone else!

@rationalyankee Yes, there is an element of luck in most championship pushes. Go back and review the Jays injuries over this past season, it makes it harder to claim luck.
Even still I agree with you, but this is not what Snell was saying and he sounds like an arrogant asshat for saying it.
Superior baseball IQ and preparation writing a scouting report that probably read something like, “he tried to beat us with secondary pitches on the edges in game 1 and it didn’t work, he’ll want to establish fastball dominance early, be aggressive” isn’t luck… they got you.
“You’re gonna be the best one there. You’re gonna win!”
@27vladdyjr’s daughter, Vlaimel, leaves her dad an adoring voicemail that tugs on the heartstrings.
Obviously there's so much to talk about when it comes to this Blue Jays' postseason run with how good they've been....but I feel like the sheer absurdity of 22 year old Trey Yesavage being THIS dominant, given how little MLB experience he pitched with before the post season started against arguably the three other best teams in the entire playoffs is not being talked about enough.
This dude started in Single-A to begin the season and he's out here just absolutely carving up the best rosters in baseball on the biggest stage like nothing. Why is this not being talked about more lol
