जैसे ही उनका पार्थिव शरीर परिवार को सौंपा गया, पूरे घर में मातम पसर गया। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल था और हर आंख नम हो गई। देश के लिए अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले इस वीर सपूत को अंतिम विदाई देते समय माहौल बेहद भावुक और गमगीन हो गया।

I remember how a Meitei lady wearing Phanek was parading mutilated body of a kuki , how a kuki individual was barbarically chopping farmers head from body, body of 3 year old Meitie kid floating in water , Kuki income tax officer burnt alive infront of people, Meitie lady telling men to rape a kuki girl .

I have seen a lot in this conflict with my own eyes , when it comes to Barbarism extremist from all ethnicity have shown their extreme . These barbarians do not represent whole society.

Weapons can be seized and removed, but how do you remove the hatred and dehumanization that communities develop towards one another? That underlying hostility is what truly needs to be confronted and addressed if lasting peace is ever to be achieved.
