@FRBak0 Your point stands. It’s why people talk about kof 13 so much to this day. It’s the last game where it felt like SNK was actively trying to push the best looking game as a priority. Otherwise hasn’t been a thing for SNK since the early 90s
@OnlyInDigital@Alioune85 Exactly.
They did the same thing Garou did where they copied the relevant SF game at the time instead of doing their own system. Getting SF people to try out an alternate drive system with rock and Billy isn’t easy. To them SF is already at home
@walldiver@TwinTailTwist And I like dry characters also. Nothing like a good old dry Billy Kane or E Honda. Don’t need to be in a typing class to have fun
@TwinTailTwist Exactly. SNK people fall into this trap where they just look like they’re begging Street Fighter people to play their game. They’re not gonna play it move on
@JojoAizen@NYChrisG Exactly. Westerners/Americans already have a streets game that is ingrained in the culture. SNK probably wont ever grow out of being bargain bin SF to the west
@TheMetalP Especially the competitive player base that on average mains like 2 of the characters. I only regularly play Viper and Ryu in 6. Would probably only play Karate and Billy in wolves. Maybe Duck
@jordan_colon238 SF6 kinda but 30 characters about 3 to 4 years into a SF game is average. Tekken 8 already has 44 characters even with its high budget and graphics performance. 4 a year isn’t that crazy to wait for more characters that are going to jab and launch you in the air 😌
