While the plotlines are weirdly paced, they do make sense enough for me to not trash the story outright. I'm sort of excited to see what ways the plot will be taking.
Gonna have to say, at the beginning, Nanally was INSANELY annoying as fuck. But guess what, she grew on me a lot. Her character is alright.
I still think in terms of storytelling, Nanally and Daffodil (both have half body and soul) are gonna fuse dbz style at some point.
Props to Britanny Lauda and the VO directors for giving her a soul in english. It certainly is difficult to voice a character this annoying with a bit of depth.
Whats cool, the "filler" episode where Taygedo goes on a date also shows a little about Nanallys character.
HUGE ANOUNCEMENT
In the next few months I can't really stream for long, or at all. I'm rather busy. There will be streams, but most may only be an hour or two long.
Crimson Desert postponed until I'm fully back! Possibly August or September.
Man I'm bummed, I wanted to do a secret second stream today but its already too late.
Oh well, tommorow is another day. More Megabonk again I think. We gonna reach 500k+
@epiclucas43 Meanwhile, monetary transactions are fairly sophisticated and reasonable, considering humanity evolved due to trade. The whole thing regarding supply and demand is a fairly cohesive check and balance.
I could rant about this for hours but you probably get what I mean by now.
Fucking hell, someone just called games you buy on steam "buy2play"...fucking kill me LUL. We're so damn screwed. Has to be the worst statement I've ever seen and trust me, I do see a lot of garbage.
Humanity is beyond fucked, comments like these are why the Neanderthals died.
@epiclucas43 This shit is fairly horrifying, honestly. The more you think about it, the more people are just willing to give away their rights just so they can play waifu game #9067, companies knowingly adjust in order to offer these "services" which they can revoke/replace at any moment.
@epiclucas43 Stop Killing Games is a initiative that put the question of ownership in digital products to the mainstream. The question if the game you own really belongs to you is kinda important.
However, when people only dwell in the f2p sphere, there is no real ownership to exist at all.
@epiclucas43 The whole Stop Killing Games situation comes to mind, too. Some people are so accustomed to f2p that they think its the entire gaming sphere.
I don't think its that bad of a situation, but if you read my stuff and connect 1+1 then you probably see the problem.
@epiclucas43 With the more normal approach its decentralized. Theres many stores (debateable) that offer video games. It comes with a whole flurry of attached rules as well, but because of the decentralization, theres not really anything stopping anyone to claim partial ownership.
@epiclucas43 My point being, that people that play distinctive online games (gacha, MMOs) are used to centralized processes. Everything is handled through the client, everything is processed through the constant update circles. The developers reserve the right to control everything.
@epiclucas43 Yeah its one out of many points. I am not talking about old games though, but games that you buy. ALL games that you get by paying something.
Even a game that you can only access online can be played with community maintained servers. Quake Live comes to mind. ARMA is also paid.
@IvystormVt_ Is this engagement slop? If so, I feel myself baited enough for a serious response lmao
I say sure. They're comfy games. Final Fantasy is a game that plays itself, yet is still super fun even though theres literally zero challenge. Comfy game = comfy gamer date = total win
Like how can someone have so much brainrot with gacha and MMO lingo that you cannot fathom that games are usually self contained projects that a game makes that you can buy.
And don't split hairs, products aren't services.
