right now at 4:51am, while i can't sleep, i’d have called her just to shake away the jittery nerves.

for the first time in my 12 year career, not having her here in person to call/share how it’ll all go is heartbreaking but know i need to do this for her but most importantly me.

this piece titled ‘mittar pyare nu’ was my mums fave art. today would have been her 66th birthday. as i embark on my 22nd exhibition in singapore, i reflect on how guru gobind singh ji still turned to god having lost everything but their faith. i do the same.
