Notice a common theme with the goals tonight?

Grits tap in in front of the net, Nico rebound in front of the net, Mantha smacks it home screening and sitting net front

Just something interesting I noticed.. a good sign hopefully for what’s to come

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Grits doing what everyone should be doing with Bratt and Jack, sitting in front of the net waiting for the puck 😂

He’s smart! You can make a living tapping the puck in with those two, and he’s been fitting in well keeping up with their speed in transition

Keep Bratt Jack grits together pls. I love this line

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

He tried a between the legs shot btw for those who didn’t see

Just to have the confidence to try something like that.. says a lot

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Evangelista is a sicko

I love it. I really think he’s gonna turn out to be a great addition to this team

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Great win

If the devils just played the way they did tonight every game.. we’d be in for a real successful season

The up and down start continues, but tonight tons of up! Lots of positives to feel good about

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Grits you are freaking amazing

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Great 2 periods. Devils have rolled all night

Shots are 32-13 in favor of NJ, they are pretty much dominating Colorado tonight

Unfortunately it’s only a one goal lead to show for it.. Which seems to be nothing new lately

HUGE third period needed. Colorado is on game 2 of a B2B, no excuses

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Been really digging lombardis game kinda sucks he’s the one sitting

At quite honestly Noesen has been good too lately.

[Amanda Stein @amandacstein]

Based on jersey colors today, I think Connor Brown is going to make his season debut for #NJDevils tonight.

Noesen and Lombardi are in blue jerseys, designated as extras.

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Just got home from work so I haven’t been able to watch

Need someone to catch me up, what’s been going on. Defense fault? Goalie? Both?

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

@RachelMHerzog Dw we’re laughing with you. Easy mistake to make in the moment

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Luke Hughes tonight

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Amadeus Lombardi can play 👀

Basically a one man transition and finds Noesen for a goal.. Sunny may have cooked

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Grits has worked really well with Jack and Bratt, that line has been noticeably good every period

And Mantha has found a fit grinding on L3 with Erod and Noesen

Some things are starting to click!

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

@bluebelgeorgia Connor Bedard just scored they have 10 posts lined up

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Absolute highlight reel from Luke

He is a Hughes brother after all…

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Luke Hughes breakout season in full force

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

THE DEVILS ARE AWAKE

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

@TheBrattPack63 We haven’t discussed this enough. A real sleeper topic

[Devils Red Alert @DevilsRedAlert]

Overall an ugly win, but early on in the season as the team figures things out you take the points and run

The offense was there and the Devils looked way better attacking. Unfortunately one thing improves so another had to decline.. the defense and goaltending was real shaky tonight

You’ll take 2 points but we need to start to see more complete efforts as we move along the season
