The price of putting together a college football roster continues to rise, and Alabama is working to keep up in the world of NIL.
On Tuesday, I sat down with Alabama Head Coach Kalen DeBoer and asked him if Alabama’s NIL program is positioned to field a roster capable of winning a national championship?
The entire interview will be posted on our WVUA 23 website soon.
Watch the clip below for what Coach DeBoer had to say about Alabama’s NIL strategy.

Alabama currently has eight commits in the ‘27 recruiting class. The overwhelming consensus from most fans seems to be that the Crimson Tide have fell off on the recruiting trail.
Today, I figured I would take a look back at past years, on this exact date, and see where Alabama stood on the recruiting trail.
The results are certainly eye-opening. 👀

Kalen DeBoer told @garyharris_wvua that Alabama is "very competitive" in paying players, but "We got to continue to push the envelope. We need the support of anyone that wants to be a part of it."
"I think more and more people do understand that you can have an awesome staff, but you got to have the NIL support to be able to get the players because they're the ones that make the plays on Saturdays."
