My Great-Great Grandfather, Ed Rogers, is being inducted into the Minnesota Sports Hall of Fame Today.
I couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishments not only on the field but, even more-so, off of it.
A thread (1/6)
Noon today: Watch the Star Tribune's virtual Minnesota Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year's class includes Natalie Darwitz, Chris Doleman, Kevin McHale, Toni Stone, Ed Rogers and Bob McDonald. Sign up to see it here: https://t.co/lUmNQXEwNi
Version 2: If the Icon and Association unis had a non-tree trim, while the Statements had the trees plus the wolf fur pattern featured on past City jerseys.
Would you prefer if the Wolves did this or the V1 approach?
@ProLineMockups
@AndrewSHoops2@thecenterhub_bb Joshua Jefferson* from ISU is your mock to Minnesota, correct?
Easy mistake but would be very confusing with two Jettas in MN.
I really hate how when a team loses we relitigate everything.
The Wolves gave up a bunch of picks for Rudy and he had a bad Game 6 against a better team. They traded KAT because of the CBA for Randle and he had a bad series.
They made two WCFs and got to the second round, for a team that has been a historical joke since KG in 2004, TWENTY years ago.
They built a good team, they couldn't get it to put it together. It doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.
@cabbag3_ Very much appreciate that. I've had several opportunities to go national. But this is home. My connection to this place and this audience is just way too strong to leave.
@allisonaudrey@JustStarkey Twitter is a cesspool of garbage when the Wolves (or any team) lose. Faceless keyboard warriors hiding behind avatars with little to no understanding
Fire Finch, Connelly sucks, trade every player, the team is moving to Seattle. It’s all been said.
Jaden is of tremendous value.
Just two days into leaving The Athletic to launch my own site for Twins coverage, we've already blown past even my most optimistic long-term subscriber goals.
I'm overwhelmed by the support. Keep it coming and we can make this sustainable for a long time: https://t.co/osUsyR3GwG
This game being framed as some return of a wronged hero RE: Wemby, rather than a guy who was very fortunate he wasn’t suspended after wildly flagrant elbow to an opponent’s throat is just wild to me.
Absolutely surreal to see my personal big news treated as ... news.

“[Rudy's] going to have to protect himself if [the refs] are not. The amount of physicality that people play with, with him, at some level, you have to protect yourself."
- Mitch Johnson
What on earth?? 😂😂
Victor Wembanyama blatantly smacks Rudy Gobert across the face, which is an obvious flagrant, but the refs don’t even consider a review.
My big news: I've left The Athletic because they wanted me to stop covering the Twins.
I refused to give up my dream, so I'm betting on myself and returning to my independent roots.
I need your support to make it work. Join me and let's do this together: https://t.co/osUsyR3GwG
