is humming, ‘Midnight Sun’ while dancing around in his chambers.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

“oh yeah I forgot I put that in your stocking last year. I can see that you’re enjoying it.”

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

“its not, but it is one that you got for me. makes me want to fall asleep, so soothing.”

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

that better not be my cherry blossom face mask.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

big sigh.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

he will play obnoxious, Wii sports music until it livens up around here.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

good boy.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

he just, doesn’t say a word and takes a step back. Knowing, better than to get in her way.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

“she will be dying.”

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

“An ex, from a blackout period of his life.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

your man? darling, he’s my husband. he’s never even heard of you before last week. if you’re trying to be me, it won’t work.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

who in the fuck is claiming her husband as theirs? perhaps someone needs an arrow to the heart.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

always and forever yours, sunshine✨

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

His view everyday and for the rest of time. she really is, the love his immortal life. his wife and partner.

“and you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me.” she returns in kind, closing her eyes and nuzzling her face into his neck.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

He kept peppering, her face with kisses until he lays her down on the couch. quickly, laying down beside her and pulling her close to him.

“You’re the best thing, that’s ever happened to me.”

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

a giggle erupts, blushing from the amount of affection he was providing.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

without, missing a beat he scoops her up into his arms bridal style. peppering kisses, on her face as he carries her over to the couch.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

grabby hands

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

no need to worry now, he’s here for his little lovebird.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

it was too dark without him.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

olympus’s light has returned.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

she thinks for a moment before rolling over to look directly into his eyes. “was it that dreadful Ken song?”

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

finishing up, the song he sets down the lyre down on the opposite side of them. Then, leans down and presses a kiss to the top of her head.

“Now, I know you’ll never guess which song that is… I’ll give you one clue. It’s a Barbie song.”

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

“and I would never doubt you, sunshine.”

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

“good, my little lovebird. because, when a god promises forever… we mean it. At least, I do.”

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

sighing at the contact, she melts into him.

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

he continues to play, with on hand while humming and running his fingers through her hair with his free hand.

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

“beyond time itself, my love.”

[apollo @sunlitethereal]

“half decade and an eternity more, forever my muse.”

[𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 @DeviousInnocent]

placing her head in her husband’s lap.
