Just in: Rioter Drew Levin 🇺🇸 shared an update on the globally impacting remake bug that is blocking a subset of players reaching the in-game loading screen.

Here is what you need to know:

Riot are aware of an uptick in remake frequency since the release of patch 26.14 (approx. three days ago).

The suspected root cause is that once a game is complete it can take up to 10 minutes to fully terminate.

Beginning a new game before the previous game terminates, blocks the new process which causes an error.

Restarting your client after games is the current workaround.

A fix is being tested and validated, but no deploy timeline advised yet. Observation seems to be impacting PC's with Lower RAM

Player Support will refund LP and lift penalties if you were affected.
