@arbsven@MikeCosper What is your point. Are you suggesting that there is some justice consensus regarding the language of trees? Chill. I suspect you are mad about something completely unrelated.
@fsgbooks Dear, dear, FSG. Can there be any good reason why you do not offer Walker Percy’s novel,The Moviegoer, in a Kindle or ebook format? Seriously?
Deep sadness. And deep joy. Those can co-exist for now. But I do look forward to the time when all tears have been wiped away and their will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. Thank you Tim. And thanks be to God for his life.
Timothy J. Keller, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, pastor, and scholar died this morning at home. Dad waited until he was alone with Mom. She kissed him on the forehead and he breathed his last breath. We take comfort in some of his last words...
Dear Praying Friends,
I will shortly be returning to the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD in order to spend April doing a variation of the immunotherapy that I received last June. It was successful in eradicating 99% of the tumors. However, new tumors have developed.

From Not In It To Win It
A weird thing. I’m coming to peace with my own story. I so wanted a different one. A straighter line. Fewer mistakes. Less embarrassing myself. Less turmoil. This foreign peace may have come from writing the memoir. Or finally with age and acceptance. But Jesus, definitely Jesus.
@williamwolfe Got it. So when God (who is no respecter of persons) looks upon the heart and man looks upon the outside, God is directing us toward transgenderism. So we should be thankful that because you are male, you know better. This is not gospel folks, this is power-based falsehood.
@randicus79@imtotallyrad@BrianZahnd@kkdumez If our faith is based on the idea that the Bible never contradicts itself, then our faith will, at some point, deconstruct like a house of cards. The Bible points us to the Word, it is not, in itself, the Word of God. That title is reserved for Jesus. Alone.
