Very grateful @LukanyoMnyanda took the time out to chat with me for this @journoresources piece.
Enjoyed discussing everything from his background, to his views on modern journalism.
Have a read!
๐๏ธ NEW: In our latest Day in the Life feature, @DevoGeorge chats to The @FT's @LukanyoMnyanda to find out what a typical day working in news looks like (spoiler: there's no such thing) ๐ https://t.co/aJZSzBiQwK
@Raldowaisan@Ergundu01@WeAreWST@JohnstonesUK Yeah, If wouldn't doubt Xintong's passion. Think he played the better of the two in the last three frames. Even that 53 break in the last frame was brilliant, just probably took on one shot too many.
Higgins has been stupidly lucky and very poor over the last two frames. Very harsh on Zhao, who has been consistently the better player today.

Fine margins in this league.
If we'd had that Jurasek goal allowed (which looked offside to me) then maybe we could've got a quick 2nd.
We were level pegging with Stoke first half, tailed off 2nd half.
We've got 2 weeks to regroup and bed new signings in.

@EastMidRailway Are you aware whether your company is making any effort to increase the number of carriages you can run on this line? Or not, considering next year's nationalisation?
Also, I'd argue EMR have sold too many tickets for the service. It's rammed.
@EastMidRailway do you think it's acceptable to provide only two carriages for a Norwich to London service, the weekend before Xmas?
Also, because you don't have a large luggage rack in the middle of the carriage, I now need to wade through all thise people to get my suitcase.
@EastMidRailway Ah, apologies. I meant Liverpool Lime Street.
I realise this isn't your fault as customer service, but I would recognise if I was on Greater Anglia โ their trains are actually nice & always have more than enough capacity.
@harvlikestrains@ben_ambrose23 Mate, I just think we've become ridiculously impatient as a fan base.
We all thought Sargent was shit, then he came good. Sainz also took a while to come good.
Football is a long, long game. It solves nothing just hiring and firing every year.
@ben_ambrose23 I don't see, this close to January, what the point is in sacking him. May as well give him the window as one final test.
I do think he's the head that should roll if one has to. Would be very against sacking Manning now.
@FHWakefield02 He obviously means his record in management.
He's a proven championship coach. People have had rough starts at football clubs and improved.
We'd become a Norfolkian Watford if we sacked Manning this quickly. Knee jerk decisions won't save us.
A large pub queue at The Ship Inn in Mundesley, north Norfolk.
The issue seems to a combination of Americans and English tourists not used to proper pubs

@AlecShelbrooke Long read article summing up how dark a character he is:

BBC piece about very recent pub closure in Derby...

@AlecShelbrooke@AlecShelbrooke... you probably won't see this, but your constituency has Tadcaster in it, home of the Sam Smith brewery.
The owner is regularly shutting profitable, welcoming, pubs because they don't stick by his draconian & archaic rules.
Please read the articles below:
@jordanbhx I mean, tbf...
We're missing out on a campus that Manchester is getting tho, & that is a real blow considering it already feels like we're slipping behind them a bit.
@CFBBritBaller @NorwichCityFC Fully agree.
But I think JHT is a really promising young coach and, given time, he'd be able to build something.
Could've been the same next season, we'll never know, I just think he should've been given the chance.
@JohnofOakTree@NorwichCityFC Finished 14th, no? So maybe not worse but similar.
My point was more in terms of what I saw on the pitch. In Farke's first season there was little to no evidence of his style of play coming through, whereas we've already seen glimpses of Thorup's this season.
