Since I haven't posted anything in a while, I'd like to let everyone know that Delta-Zone Release 22.1 is out!

This update overhauls loot boxes with new visuals and specialized items for each type. Plus, a brand-new map: the REFINERY! 🏭

The update also includes bug fixes, improvements and additions to existing systems, like a new scouting task, and the ability to friendly-talk with enemies!

@odd_enough Original ref has no fillets on it and is probably made in cad, so I at least gave it some very sharp bevels so in closeup it catches some highlights if it was game asset I would increase bevels so it is a bit rounded to catch even more highlights, in this case ref is king.

@odd_enough Finished model and also did a comparison of 3D render vs reference, limited myself to pure subdiv modeling, no creasing, no booleans, no cheap tricks. It was quite a fun challenge to dust off my modeling skills.

The customization station you’ve been using for Ivy is getting a bit of an upgrade! Soon, you’ll be able to swap out cyberware on her body, with her appearance evolving as you equip more advanced gear. As for the preview, it shows how Ivy can look when almost completely maxed out on cyberware.

Just a heads-up: the video is still a work-in-progress preview, so it��s not the final version!

This update focuses on cyberware, a fully modular system which allows you to modify Ivy in various ways.

Other features include; a fully-reworked health system, a whole new map, survival mechanics, new items, and gameplay changes.

A very early WIP look at the new overhauled health system! Ivy will now be prone to many injury types, like bleeding, fractures, scratches, but also other effects like frostbites, burns and infections. These of course will be affected by the upcoming cyberware.

Release 21 will be introducing a major cyberware overhaul! You'll soon have the power to enhance Ivy's abilities and visual appearance by customizing her body with a wide range of cyberware items.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the body parts you'll be able to upgrade, along with the implants available for each one. Eventually, every part of Ivy's body can be transformed, turning her into a fully customizable machine.

Delta-Zone is back! After a year of silence, I’ve decided to post here again!
