Finishing grad school is never easy - these 4 amazing women did it during a pandemic!
Congrats to my EnvChem MS student Bobbi Jo Helgemoe @HelgemoeJo and PhD students Devon Bulman @DevonBulman, Stephanie Berg @StephanieMBerg, and Emma Trainer @Emma_ology!
It’s helpful that Trump supporters also put up signs for the people they are voting for in the local elections, makes driving through rural Minnesota a checklist of who not to vote for...#Election2020
Pence demanding that Harris answer *his* own personal questions when he won’t even answer the moderator’s is gross, and exemplary of the gender dynamics so many women have to deal with at work.
Pence keeps saying “you can have your own opinions but not your own facts” in an effort to distract from the FACT that the Trump administration consistently lies about almost everything... #VPDebates
The Green New Deal will create 5million more job than will be lost. Fracking destroys clean water, it causes diseases and cancers in the communities where it happening and has released unprecedented amounts of radioactive material into our soil and water ways. #VPDebate2020

This happened to me too while I was there, I found out when the pharmacist told me I had no health insurance and I had to pay out of pocket for a prescription. All because an admin gave us 2 days to verify our continuing appointment (her job) while I was out of the country...
(1/2) I struggled about sharing this: I 'temporarily' lost health insurance last wk due to a delayed TA appointment. Many #gradworkers@uwmadison have been failed (also in yrs prior) by admin taking deadlines for our employment lightly (some aside who fight for us).
3 Ph.D. students are sought to join my team for three multi-year wastewater resource recovery projects starting Spring 2021. Please kindly help me spread the words. Detailed information can be found at https://t.co/0iKUnjiikU
That time when I got to go back to lab and the experiments actually worked. My #sabbatical at @ETH_en and @EawagResearch was just over a year ago, but feels like a lifetime. This study with Urs was so much fun - I am really happy to share it with you all.
Yesterday I was asked by a professor to lead an anti-racism class for the entire graduate school of education. No mention of compensation. I'm a Black student in the department and it appears that I'm being asked for free labor to dismantle White supremacy. Ridiculous.
When everyone else in your house is on a zoom call for their various jobs and you finished #gradschool last week and have 2 weeks off before you start work
I’m a PhD student in chemical engineering at the University of Cambridge! I use machine learning to accelerate scale-up of chemical processes. #BlackinChemRollCall#BlackInChemWeek
