Finally, a dry evening... time to move a hand made, tower of empty boxes! Getting everything ready to pack the 2025 vintage for the release, at the end of the month.

Oats. It’s featuring as one of our winter cover crops this cycle. This crop of oats is great for the soil, it adds organic matter, improves soil structure, and boosts microbial activity. It converts atmospheric CO2 to locked in carbon stored in the soil. Win-win.

The heart and cross. A large natural sculpture in the vineyard, shaped over years from pruned vines.

No irrigation water. No herbicide weedkiller.
Ploughing eliminates weeds without using chemicals, and also removes shallow vine roots, to promote deep set vine roots, hence allowing for the dry farming of our vines. No wasted water, no toxic chemicals, smaller crops, better wine.

The 2025 vintage - barrel to bottle to glass. Overall style is one of low intervention and a pure expression of the 2025 vintage, of the Martinborough Terrace, and particularly of the Devotus vineyard.
