@Asian_myth@Fidomobile Mike, I just signed up with Fido yesterday and I’m disappointed in their service. Sorry to hear that you have been with them 12 years. Condolences.
@Fidomobile is useless. If I phone 611 either I’m holding for over 1/2 hour or they are closed. Messaging is closed too. I wish I’d stayed with my old phone company.
@Tyler_McKinnon1 @cassiemuise Hey Tyler and Cassie,
A friend and I got tickets for God Catcher for tonight, right after Derrick Chua suggested it. 😀
I’m open to recommendations for other 🇨🇦‘s at EdFringe
@d_chua Derrick thank you for posting. I booked tickets for Grumms & Kruger and Otto & Astrid for tonight. 😀 So many shows, 360 page guide, suggestions are welcome.
Cool to see that @clareblackwood and @rachkmc met each other, presumably, on Twitter and are planning on grabbing coffee together. I’ve met them both and they are super cool. It’s like hearing that authors Tolkien and C. S. Lewis met each other for coffee (if you are into books).
On a flight to see shows at Edinburgh Fringe I saw @HRHAnandRajaram in ‘I LIKE MOVIES’. I’ve only seen Anand in theatre before. I’m more into theatre than movie but it was a great CDN movie. I’d recommend it even if you’re not in a sealed tube at 30000 feet with nowhere to go.
@rachkmc@glennsumi@tapeworthy Rachel, your tweet introduced me to Tapeworthy’s blog. Wow he sees a lot of theatre. I’ve seen 61 shows in 2023 so far but it seems he sees more theatre than me. 🙂 (I saw 170+ shows in 2019, pre-pandemic) I follow Glenn Sumi, now I follow tapeworthy too.
@glennsumi Thanks for sharing, Glenn. Between HamiltonFringe ending and KingstonFringe starting I would have missed this Soulpepper show. I’ll grab tickets. 🙂
@rachkmc Rachel, you might like The Sound Inside at Coal Mine Theatre. It is a two-hander about a professor of writing at Yale and a student who wrote a novel/novella. It might resonate with you. https://t.co/zLV5LQAYsE
Great evening at NeighbourLink Ukrainian Newcomer Tea. It was great to see people who recently migrated from Ukraine meet with each other and find community in North York. Some were happy to practice English with me.
@glennsumi Who has time for cinema when there is so much theatre? 🙂 To be honest ELVIS was the last time that I went to see a movie. It was back in 2022 when it was a new release because a friend from college wanted to see it.
@ryanghinds You like theatre, you like vocal music. You might really enjoy Fall on Your Knees Part 2. So much vocal music for a show that is not a musical.
