@tomnorthfilm I developed the first film through the old Bessar this week - dust on the negs during the exposures. I have vacuumed out the camera with a tiny nozzle for next time. Gave my first print a really old feel though I have to say (I actually like it for it's imperfections)π
@tomnorthfilm My earlier model has no cover for the red windows... I have been diligently putting it back in the camera bag... My shutter is not the rapid version - max at 250th. I find the 'bright finder' hard to use and it's not obvious to me which finder is for which on mine for 4.5 vs 9 :)
@r_endymion @tomnorthfilm How do you find the age? I'm halfway through my first roll with my 'new to me' one and it is similar with a Voigtar 4.5 lens but no cover over the 'viewfinder' on top. Came with the 4.5 mask :)
@paulasmithphoto hmmm - sounds like a long term strategy! maybe I'll just hold my breath when taking the photos or use in a strong breeze π - thanks for the update :)
@tomnorthfilm I only discovered split grade recently when I got back into the darkroom after 25+ years. I'm not sure, but maybe any neg could benefit from some split grade love? If it looks right (to you), then it is right :)
@NealDorman28 I suspect that the watercolor will be 'locked' under the cyanotype chemicals. Well see βΊοΈ.
Might be better adding water colour whilst still wet?
Experimentation time!
