Meaningful connectivity is key to unlocking the full benefits of Nigeria’s digital economy. This is a critical part of the transformative plans in H.E. President @officialABAT’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Today, we moved closer to realizing that potential as I unveiled the high-level design for Project BRIDGE, our initiative to deploy 90,000km of fibre-optic infrastructure across Nigeria at an event hosted in partnership with the Association of Telecom Operators of Nigeria (ATCON).

Project Bridge is the most ambitious and foundational digital infrastructure project in Nigeria’s history and is currently the largest digital fibre backbone investment in any developing nation

As we advance into the next phase of the rollout, I look forward to comments and engagement from industry partners and stakeholders as we bring this vision to life.

Together, we will bridge the digital divide and ensure that more Nigerians can participate in and benefit from a thriving Digital Economy.
