We've made so much progress as a state, but as we move forward, it’s critical we never lose sight of what makes our state unique: our rural communities. Tonight, I’m focusing on the future of rural Kansas because when rural Kansas does well, we all do well. #SOTS
Trump lost:
—The popular vote by 7 million
—60 court cases
—In GOP-controlled states
—Before judges he appointed
—At the Supreme Court
—Recount after recount, in state after state
Yet he still doesn’t understand the basic truth: you can’t love your country ONLY when you win.

Today, @FitchRatings released their first credit rating for the State of Kansas, affirming us as stable at AA. By balancing the budget, paying off debt, and growing our economy, it's clear that we're setting Kansas up for long-term success.
Reflecting on another amazing year as First Cat of Kansas. Some of my most notable accomplishments include:
💤 849 naps taken
🐦 32 birds pounced on
🌳 3 attempted tree climbs
This year, my administration closed over 250 economic development projects, totaling more than $3.1 billion in new business dollars invested into the state. Kansas' economy is strong, and heading into 2024, we'll keep our foot on the gas.
I'm so angry — House Republicans have introduced legislation to repeal the $35/month cap on insulin that Democrats passed for seniors on Medicare.
I need you to retweet and spread the word about this. Every voter needs to know.
2023 was a big year for Kansas. 🧵 We:
📚 Fully funded K-12 education for the 5th year in a row
🩺 Decriminalized fentanyl test strips
🌐 Connected nearly 9,000 homes & businesses to high-speed internet
🍎 Saved Kansans more than $187M by lowering the food tax
BIG NEWS: Since I took office, businesses have invested more than $18 BILLION, and my administration just surpassed 65,000 jobs created and retained. Thanks to our laser-sharp focus on growing the economy, Kansas's future is bright, and we're not done yet.
Kansans cast nearly 270,000 votes on our state's next license plate last week, and now...drumroll please...we have a winner! This plate won the majority of the votes. Now, we can get clearer, safer license plates on the streets as soon as possible.
Our state feeds the world, yet too many Kansans struggle with high costs at the grocery store. On January 1, we're axing the food tax again to give Kansans some much needed relief. No Kansan should have to stress about how they'll afford to feed their family.
