ಕಲ್ಲುವಳ್ಳಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ರೈತರು ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಅನ್ನದಾತರ ತಾಳ್ಮೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಬೇಡ. ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ತುಂಬಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕು. ಶಾಶ್ವತ ನೀರಾವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಅನ್ನದಾತರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ @JanataDal_S ಪಕ್ಷ ಸದಾ ಬೆಂಬಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿದೆ.

The proposed ₹17,698-crore #tunnelroad slices through Lalbagh’s geological heart- the ancient Dharwar Craton, one of Earth’s oldest rock formations and a GSI-protected site.

Experts warn:
🔹 Drilling could fracture the Lalbagh Rock, altering groundwater flow and risking seepage from Lalbagh Lake towards NIMHANS and adjoining zones.
🔹 6 acres of Lalbagh- home to 2,200+ plant species and 250-year-old trees, could be lost.
🔹 Ventilation shafts inside Lalbagh threaten its delicate ecology.
🔹 Even the Metro was realigned earlier to protect this rock- why risk it now?

This isn’t just about traffic- it’s about science, heritage, and ecology. A 3.5-billion-year-old foundation cannot be replaced once disturbed.
