Hey everyone, Wanted to share my journey.
How it started
A few months ago, I was frustrated with one specific problem β AI-generated images always had that weird plastic skin look. You know the one. So I built a smart upscaler that actually fixes that. It was supposed to be a simple tool, nothing more.
But then I kept going.
I added image generation. Then image editing. Then video generation. Then AI avatars, UGC creator tools, an influencer video maker, design elements, an elements library... Before I knew it, I had a full AI creative suite on my hands.
The product is called https://t.co/CvmSRN8ArM and it's basically an all-in-one platform for anyone who needs AI-powered creative tools β without juggling 6 different subscriptions.
The "oh no" moment. Heavy competition.
About six months ago, a bunch of my friends recommended Higgsfield to me. A company worth over a billion dollars, millions of users β the real deal. So I started using it. And I literally got a migraine.
Nothing was intuitive. I kept clicking around trying to figure out basic things. I thought maybe it was just me.
So I thought what if I just built something that actually made sense to use? Something clean, simple, and straightforward. At least according to my taste.
But I also knew that just a better straightforward tool wasn't going to be enough. I'm going up against a $1.3B company with millions of users. Being a better tool alone doesn't cut it. So I had to be significantly better value too to the users.
So here's what I did: for our inaugural 6-month offer (April through September 2026, might extend), https://t.co/CvmSRN8ArM is giving more than 2x the value compared to https://t.co/jj1NnHm2sC. No catch. I just want people to try it and see the difference for themselves. I've also added a side-by-side comparison of the generation counts on the website. And it's not just Higgsfield, I compared Sharpii AI against 5 other top AI Image and Video platforms as well and made sure we're still offering more than twice the value across the board.
One week in
It's been about a week since launch. Got just a handful of users so far (I literally have no experience in marketing). I observed most of the users are e-commerce marketers they're using it to generate product photos, lifestyle shots, and short-form video content for their stores and reels and AI UGC style ads.
What I learned so far:
Sometimes a better product idea comes from getting a migraine using someone else's product.
Your first few users will teach you more about your product than you ever knew yourself.
Curious to learn more in this journey.
Still very early days. I'm building this piece by piece, and I know I have a long road ahead. But it feels good to finally put something out there.
Happy to answer any questions or take feedback. And if you want to try it out, I'd genuinely appreciate honest opinions.
Also β I'm a technical founder, not a marketer. If you get a chance to check out the site, I'd love honest feedback on the logo, the homepage design, and the overall feel. Does it look usable or attractive?
And if anyone has advice on how to market something like this to the right audience, especially with minimal budget, I'm all ears. Any help means the world.
Thanks for reading.
