It’s a Robinson R44 Cadet, manufactured by Robinson Helicopter Company in the United States 🇺🇸.

A brand-new R44 Cadet reportedly goes for around US$520,000, and the helicopter weighs roughly 1.4 tonnes.

Now I understand why getting a bird’s-eye view of South Sudan comes with a serious price tag! 😂🚁🇸🇸

The Helicopter Opportunity Nobody Is Talking About 🚁🇸🇸

It currently costs around $52,000 to charter a helicopter from Kenya for a tourism operation in South Sudan.

Imagine this:

A group of tourists flies from Juba to Boma, spends 3 days and 2 nights exploring the spectacular Boma-Badingilo Migratory Landscape, gets up to 10 hours of scenic and wildlife flight time, and then flies back to Juba.

Now here’s the interesting part: beyond permits, accommodation, local transport and food, a huge portion of that tourism revenue leaves South Sudan because the aircraft and much of the aviation service are sourced from outside the country.

So, tell your rich uncles: stop buying another Prado. Buy a helicopter! 😂🚁

Seriously though, this is a real investment opportunity.

Put one or two tourism helicopters in Juba, and you immediately have an asset positioned to serve wildlife photographers, luxury travellers, documentary crews, conservation organisations and adventure tourists heading into Boma-Badingilo.

If I had the helicopters available, I am confident I could bring at least 8 clients per month for Boma-Badingilo experiences.

At the right utilisation and pricing, two helicopters could potentially generate $80,000–$160,000 per month in gross tourism charter revenue.

That is not just about helicopters.

It is about keeping tourism money inside South Sudan, creating aviation jobs, supporting local operators and building the infrastructure needed for South Sudan to become a serious wildlife tourism destination. 🇸🇸🌍

This was after vigorous competitions played across the world, from African championship to the world stage, where we played against the USA, which was a narrow escape for the USA.
South Sudan basketball has become a source of hope and joy for the South Sudanese; it unifies the entire country, games are watched on large screens across the towns mostly in public spaces.
The team leaders and most of the players are world-renowned players, internationally recognised for their sportsmanship, their incredible heights and huge contributions to the society. There is no mention of basketball without mentioning the godfather the late Manut Bol, the first to grace the NBA from South Sudan and he opened us up for opportunities.
God has given us height and resilience to champion this stage. How far do you think this team will go next?
