You will NEVER make it in trading if you keep MICRO MANAGING EVERY MINUTE.
Get in a trade - SET TP - SET SL and just leave it.
People find a new thing to complain about in every trading session.
Just let the trade play out.
The longer you trade, the more you realize how boring it's actually supposed to be.
I did a YouTube stream yesterday where I was live trading and giving out Lucid codes.
And it was chop city the whole time, as usual, so I didn't take a single trade.
But the amount of people begging me to just take SOMETHING was wild. Bored, wanting codes now, wanting me to force a setup that wasn't there.
Bro... THIS is trading.
Long stretches of nothing. The discipline to sit through it. That's the whole job.
And the longer it takes you to accept that, the longer it takes you to get profitable.
Before you enter any trade, write it down.
What's the 4H direction?
Where's the FVG?
Did the 15M confirm it?
Where's your entry?
Where's your stop loss?
Where's your profit?
If you can't write it, you shouldn't take it.
This one habit will filter out 80% of your bad trades.
The pinned tweet gives you the exact FVG model to journal around.
Advice that you did not ask for.
Stop copy trading. That is EARNED through months of consistency.
Yes, to scale your prop trading, you will need to add more accounts.
BUT, that is done when its earned.
1 account - be consistent for 2 months - reinvest into 2nd account - rinse and repeat.
Too many traders are going into the prop space while going for max allocation.
Slow down to speed up.
How to avoid low probability conditions:
1. large overnight expansions
2. HTF DOL was met before session begins
3. lack of FVGs / lack of respect of FVGs
4. No clear objectives or DOL
5. Bank Holidays
6. Trapped orderflow

You can make over $1,000,000 trading. You just need to:
- Stop watching every indicator. Learn liquidity instead.
- Pick one model. Master it before you touch another.
- Know what gap you're inside of.
- Wait for the sweep. Don't force it.
- Never take a setup with no engineered liquidity behind it.
- Half size when your model isn't 100% there.
- Full size only when everything lines up.
- Stop trading after a red day out of anger.
- Stop trading when you're emotional. Period.
- Stop trading to make back a loss.
- Know exactly why you're in every trade before you enter.
- Define your invalidation before you long.
- Never move your stop mid-trade because you "feel" it.
- Trade the plan, not the vibe.
- Trade your session. Mine's 09:30 to 10:30.
- Accept some days you get nothing. That's a good day too.
- Accept some days you lose. That's the job.
- Losing is part of the model, not a failure of it.
- Don't quit trading after one bad day.
- Don't size up right after a win because you feel invincible.
- Let the setup come to you. Don't chase price.
- Patience is the real edge. Not the model.
- Sit on your hands more than feels comfortable.
- Miss moves without getting fomo.
- The traders actually printing take fewer trades than you think.
- Back test until it's boring.
- Boring is profitable. Exciting means you're about to lose.
- Your routine matters as much as your setup.
- Know what session you're trading before the market opens.
- Stop reacting to candles. Start anticipating the sweep.
- One model. Go deep, not wide (that’s what she said).
- Less setups, more conviction.
- Stop chasing the move you missed.
- Don't let a big win change how big your next trade is.
- A red day doesn't make you bad at this.
- A green day doesn't make you a genius.
- Consistency over months beats one lucky trade.
- Think in months, not days.
- Then think in years, not months.
- The first few years are supposed to be hard.
- Don't quit in year two because year one was rough.
- Every trader you respect got smoked before they got good.
- Never let one trade decide your month.
- Protect the account. Everything else comes second.
Trading is becoming a more and more important skill each year
Job industries are getting worse, the economy is looking unstable, the stock market will likely crash soon
But none of this really matters if you’re a trader
In fact, you can have your best trading results while the economy is tanking and things are going badly for everyone else
As the world gets more unstable, traders will be the ones who capitalise on this and make more money than ever
THIS is why you should never quit trading
I lost everything 3 times before I wrote down these 7 rules. Haven't had a losing month since I started following them…
Every trader thinks they need a better strategy. Usually they need better CRITERIA for when to use the strategy they already have.
Here's the exact checklist I run before every single trade:
☐ 1. HIGHER TIMEFRAME BIAS
Is the daily or 4H showing clear direction?
If price is in the middle of nowhere, chopping around, I don't trade. I need price to be approaching a significant level with clear intention.
No bias = No trade
☐ 2. SIGNIFICANT LEVEL IDENTIFIED
Is there a clear liquidity pool (swing high/low) that price is targeting?
Not just any level. A level where stops are obviously clustered. Previous day high/low. Weekly swing points. Obvious "support/resistance" that everyone sees.
No level = No trade
☐ 3. SWEEP OCCURRED
Has price actually taken the liquidity at that level?
This is the most important one. I don't enter UNTIL price has swept the level. The sweep confirms institutions grabbed the liquidity. Now they'll reverse.
No sweep = No trade
☐ 4. FAIR VALUE GAP PRESENT
After the sweep, is there a clear imbalance in price that it will likely return to fill?
The gap is my entry zone. If there's no gap, there's no clear entry point.
No gap = No trade
☐ 5. V-SHAPE SIGNATURE FORMING
Am I seeing expansion → reversal → expansion starting?
This confirms the sweep was the end of that move and the reversal is beginning. Consolidation after the sweep = not ready yet.
No V-shape = No trade
☐ 6. RISK DEFINED
Is my stop loss BEHIND the structure (fair value gap)? Is my risk 1-2% maximum?
If I can't clearly define where I'm wrong, I don't have a trade. I have a gamble.
No clear stop = No trade
☐ 7. TARGET CLEAR
Is the opposite liquidity pool (my target) at least 2R away?
If the target is only 1.5R away, the math doesn't work even with a good win rate.
No 2R target = No trade
Most traders skip steps 3, 4, and 5. That's why most traders lose.
They see a level, enter immediately, and get stopped out when price sweeps it. If they waited for the sweep FIRST, they'd be entering with smart money instead of getting liquidated.

Stop comparing your trading journey to someone else's.
You see their:
$100K months
$1M payouts
Lambos
Dubai lifestyle
You don't see the years of losses, mistakes and work behind it.
Focus on your own curve.
If someone gave you your dream body, would you know how to maintain it?
If someone handed you $1M tomorrow, would you know how to keep it?
The thing you want was never the point. It's who you have to become to get it.
Otherwise how do you plan on getting something you couldn't even keep.
Set your stop loss.
Set your take profit.
Do nothing.
No partials.
No moving to break even.
TP or SL.
That's it.
Train that like a muscle.
It gets easier after 50 trades of not touching.
Moving to break even feels safe.
It kills your edge.
50% win rate at 1:2 RR = profitable.
Move to break even and half your winners become scratch trades.
Win rate drops, reward stays the same.
The math gets worse.
Leave the trade alone.
@DodgysDD You are absolutely right. Most people's families are LOSERS with no intention just drifting thru life!!!
People who are getting offended about you describing your parents' behaviors as what to not be around if you want to make something of your life are weak minded.
My mom goes to work and comes home everyday to sit on the couch, watch a soap opera, eat dinner, go to bed, then repeat
My dad wakes up at 6am, reads the bible, works on his computer, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, watches TV, eats more right before bed, and repeats the next day
I bought them a C8 corvette and haven’t been in the state for a while and it just sits in the storage unit because they are too lazy to fill out damn paperwork for 5 minutes to drive a car most people can’t afford in their life
I don’t know how to say this without being toxic, but if this is your family, gets yourself out asap
Best thing I did 3 years ago was move out of my hometown
You are being held back, held back by losers, lazy people, people who don’t know there’s more to the world, you have a purpose
When I moved to South Florida everyone had a drive, a passion, every footstep from a stranger on the side of the street had INTENTION, intention to go do something, and if those are not the people you are surrounding yourself with, you are so cooked from the start
Find time in your day to fill up every spot, like a jigsaw puzzle. No time should be wasted, 1 hour max nap if you get tired, 1 hour gym. Educational podcast while driving, maybe therapeutic music during a sunset drive, anything to get you off your fucking ass and make you want to do something in life
I’m always on my phone, I’m always thinking of ideas, my brain never stops, literally EVER. I will outwork every single one of you even if you put me in the middle of nowhere with no internet, I will find a fucking way
And if this isn’t your mindset this life isn’t for you I promise
Just give up if that’s not you
@lanto_trades Dude, you have nerves of STEEL to have price come all the way back to almost near break even like that. You are on a higher mental level of trading! This is inspiring and I aspire to get there. Amazing.
Losses are irrelevant.
Wins are irrelevant.
Losing streaks are irrelevant.
Winning streaks are irrelevant.
Positive equity curves are irrelevant.
Negative equity curves are irrelevant.
Drawdowns are irrelevant.
Profits are irrelevant.
Just follow your plan, dude.
If you’re broke, don’t trade
It’s as simple as that
If you’re relying on trading to pay your rent, you’re going to be under way too much pressure and will never be consistently profitable
Even the most experienced trader in the world would struggle if they were put in this situation
If you want to succeed as a trader - get a job that can cover your expenses
This takes the pressure off of your trading and you’ll perform 10x better I promise
Trading is NOT your way out of poverty, and it never will be
I know I’m going to get hate for this post - but it’s the truth
And if you think it will get you out of a bad financial situation, it won’t - it will only make it much, much worse
