@Bitcoinvics@anabtd@justdemi Probably because he's been in the public eye most of his adult life and they wanted to share a good, happy moment with folks instead of letting the images the paparazzi keep trolling be the narrative of his life? 🤷♀️
@HillarysCast Stating the lack of resources for Ohio and the amount donated to Turkey/Syria. It came across as one was more important than the other, therefore a comparison.
@LutherStanton8 True, but I would say the US is just as guilty in that most of our assistance is done with the goal of building or strengthening bonds and looking good on the world stage. It's mostly all politics.
@LutherStanton8 I have no love for communism regimes, but facts are facts and China sent search teams, money and aid. Russia also sent rescuers and aid to both Turkey and Syria. For once, most of the world came together, briefly, to help one another.
@RainyTalesVA Don't ever feel like you should apologize for being passionate about calling out injustice. I, too, have let my anger, frustration and pain influence my responses lately regarding the devastation. It's because we care. ♥️
@sirimahanthesh Uhm....what response besides a rescue team and a small military assistance? Our response as a government and a people, in general, is embarrassing.
@no_gravity26 The problem isn't that agencies don't chose to help, it's that they're restricted by the regime. The UN just recently got access to the affected area after building a new road in. The White Hats are the best and only option for now. Bless them and their efforts. ♥️
@danielcox369 A) the area sits on a massive, active fault line, so....geology, and B) substandard and corrupt building materials and practices including not retrofitting buildings with earthquake dampening devices and buildings too tall for a region affected by earthquakes.
@mechpup@Abshar_Tasnim2 They were trying to calm him down while trying to rescue him, which they did. Even the children are raised in strong faith so it may have been helpful in this case.
Heartbreaking!

Victims found alive in rubble a week after earthquake that killed 37,000 in Turkey, Syria

@mechpup@Abshar_Tasnim2 These countries are heavily Muslim and prayer is a huge part of their lives. Watch videos of rescues and read comments on posts. Nearly all praise their Allah. No one is required to specify one, both or the other. You do you. Thoughts and best wishes I'm sure are appreciated.
TikTok lives, digital gifts, PayPal and cryptocurrency deposits are some of the main methods used by scammers that claim to raise money for survivors of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
