@DrHWazir @mmamas1973 Also proud to be in the 5%. My dad worked in a paper making factory, as did my grandparents and my brother now works doing similar. I took a very long route to Medicine though and would never have gone straight from school.
Please don’t stop opportunities. Help each other up

I'm not a surgeon. But started my second second trimester miscarriage in the middle of a busy ED night shift.
Pregnancy is such a short time in your career- please look after your pregnant colleagues

EIGHTY TWO percent.

I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage in my first year as a consultant surgeon. It was devastating. She would have been 17 now. It's just awful to think this is such a common experience for women surgeons. 💔💔💔

They’re not protecting the public by ring fencing standards in medicine. They’re bullying doctors and only doctors whilst refusing to deal with quacks.
