We are all angry where we are as a club but it's going to take a collective effort to get back to the top. The owners have invested and it's currently not working, we shouldn't beat them for trying and making a mistake.

Obviously, we first need to understand that Chelsea is finding it hard to generate funds up to the standard of other clubs due to its small stadium capacity. Roman cut corners running Chelsea, he was a perfect owner for the fans, who only care about what's happening on the pitch.

Last season, Spurs generated €135m, Man United €128m, Arsenal €118m and Chelsea €66m [€69m less than Spurs]. If the new owners won't cut corners, there have to be viable and sustainable policies to take us back to the top and remain competitive. We surely can't do that by generating low gate fees, sponsorships while paying high wages.

Of course, hiking the gate fee when they did is ill-advised, and not necessary until performance improves on the pitch. But at least, we know where they are coming from. They have invested £1b in the squad, although naively, but it came from a good place. They wanted to give us the best.

Roman didn't run Chelsea as a business, but it's a fallacy to think we can get another bold owner like Roman who will use every means to keep us competitive.

We are a laughing stock now, yes, it's expected in this current form. But we as Chelsea fans should be realistic. We can't expect the club to make 360° turn in every aspect of the club and expect us not to meet challenges on the road.

The route the owners have taken is for future sustainability, there is no doubt about that, even though it will take a long time to get there. But it's becoming more and more difficult to purchase other top players from other clubs due to the fee and FFP.

Imagine what it would take to sign the Vinicius, the Sakas, the Musialas etc. You basically can't touch them now without landing yourself in FFP red.

We have no choice but to invest in potentials when they haven't reached the elite level. For sure, it will be better to have a few older, experienced players to help the process. It's unfortunate but we will get there, it's a matter of time. Some players are beginning to show their potentials.

The likes of Palmer, Gusto, Enzo, Caicedo can easily become world class in 2-3 years. That's the plan behind all that, and to get there paying sustainable wages and having a pool of players we can sell or bring into the first team without spending heavily.

We can only hope they get it right, but once there is effort, there is hope, and I know they want Chelsea on top as we fans do. No need to stick to mistakes or create more mistakes with our actions. Like I said, it's a collective thing. The owners have made mistakes but attacking or abandoning them means bad for Chelsea FC. Besides WE all want what's BEST for Chelsea.

I believe these people will get it right. They will keep trying until they get it right. They have the desire and the financial means, we just have to support the club on the pitch as their 12th man. They need us now as the season draws close. We have a lot to play for, we need to be together as one if we want to get out of this mess as soon as possible.

Crying over spilt milk will not bring it back. Let's put our differences aside for now and support the team to keep getting better until the last game of the season.
