@beesandpeonies It took me until my 30's to cut my hair how I wanted. Once, when I was a teenager, I got my hair cut to shoulder length and my Mom wouldn't even look at me for a week. To this day she tells me how much it hurt her for me to cut the hair she "worked so hard to grow long."
