And honestly, I think we have confused being rich with being generous because generosity has very little to do with money. A generous man does not just provide gifts. He provides peace, consistency, reassurance, whenever you are overthinking. He remembers the little things he gives his time, his effort, his attention, and none of those things requires a million dollar bank account. The most generous people are the ones who make you feel like you're never asking for too much because they give without making you feel guilty for receiving. And honestly, if someone only becomes generous when they have more money, they probably were not generous to begin with because generosity is not measured by the size of your wallet, it's measured by the size of your heart and that's the kind of person worth building a future with.

I found out that I was pregnant when I was 19.

I was TERRIFIED.

But, I know that God was guiding me and showing me that I was strong enough and capable of raising her, even if that meant having a harder life as a single mom.

My husband came into our lives when she was about 8, and he raised her with me, and loves her as his own. He walked her down the aisle when she got married and the 3 of us have a special bond that can never be broken.

Almost 30 years later, I look back on all of this and my heart swells with so much pride and love. I couldn't even imagine my life without her. She's now a wife and an AMAZING mother to 3 beautiful girls. Our grandkids are EVERYTHING to us.

Motherhood is an amazing blessing and we should cherish every single moment of it.
