Our Winter Music Concert was a great success where our 4th & 5th Grade Chorus and Instrumental Orchestra & Band performed for our parents and families at Quince Orchard High School! All of our student performers did a great job! Thank you to Dr. Dillon and Mr. Wilson!

Our 4th & 5th Grade Chorus perform 3 day concerts for our preK- grade 5 classes over the past two weeks. They did a great job!

Our Sneak Peek was a great success with a wonderful turnout by our Diamond families! Parents were able to sign up for the PTA and pickup their child’s bus tag with our outside table stations.

We kicked off the school year with a bus ride tour for Diamond staff through our school community with a bus stop where we welcomed back our students and families to a new school year!

Great turnout for our Summer Popsicles, Playground & Meet the Principal and Assistant Principal events that were held in August. We are excited to begin a new school year.

Our school’s leadership team spent time this summer planning for the upcoming school year. We celebrated our school data and identified areas we need to continue to improve on. We wrapped up our week with some team bonding at a local escape room.

Our 4th and 5th graders did a great job with our Spring Chorus Concert! Thank you to Dr. Dillon. Also, thank you to Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Russell for creating am Art Show of student art work!

Congratulations to all of the 2025 high school graduates, especially former Diamond ES students. We had a Clap Out for our Diamond alumni graduates from Northwest HS and Poolesville HS!

5th Grade Art Open House was a great turnout! Thank you to Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Russell for coordinating the fifth grade art work that was on display and revealing the 5th grade legacy mosaic art project.

Field Day 2025 was a huge success l! Thank you to Mr. Golden and Ms. Soderstrum for coordinating all Prek-5 activities. Thank you to all parent volunteers who helped with Field Day stations.

Congratulations to Mr. Ensley, first grade teacher, who was selected as the winner of the 2025 Shirley J Lowrie Thank You for Teaching Award. We were able to surprise him with the announcement at our school-wide assembly last week.
