@beaumont_valois If the logic is: If you can afford a pricey meal your tip should be higher. Then I argue, the restaurant makes so much money, your base pay should be higher so a tip doesn’t hurt you. Or we can all eat home & the restaurants can close down. Good service = tip, not the bill total.
