This new film follows Guy Felicella’s lived experience in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and his advocacy for harm reduction, recovery, and drug policy reform. @guyfelicella
On December 9, just after noon, AbbyPD received a report of a stolen vehicle in the Abbotsford area. Ground units quickly located the vehicle but disengaged and transferred control to the LMD Urban Patrol Helicopter Air 1. From above, Air 1 tracked the vehicle as the driver continued to operate dangerously, while members of our Gang Crime Unit and Patrol Division coordinated efforts on the ground.
A spike belt was deployed, disabling one of the tires. Moments later, a member of the Integrated Police Dog Service executed a successful PIT maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a stop. The driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by Police Service Dog Parx. This incident highlights how teamwork in policing ensures offenders are held accountable and brought before the courts.
Keeping our community safe remains our top priority. Forty-year-old Dale Macpherson has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Flight from Police.
In a moving tribute on Saturday, community members from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and beyond turned out to celebrate the life of Trey Helten, who died suddenly last month at age 42.

It's a packed house tonight at the White Rock community center for the private screening of the film Toxic!
I've spoken with a few families who brought their children‼️
This is why we made this film, to bring awareness on how deadly this drug supply is.
I will continue to share my story openly and hope that others don't go down the same path I once did because it's a very tough road. #ToxicDrugsupply #harmreductionsaveslives #WeDoRecover
