To celebrate the day, we will highlight some of history's most influential #immunologists, starting with "The Father of Immunology", Edward Jenner! Jenner is known globally for his innovative contribution to immunization and the ultimate eradication of smallpox. #DayofImmunology
As we celebrate the #DayofImmunology, we highlight the contributions of Winifred Ashby! She developed the first technique to determine red blood cell lifespan in humans, which increased the efficacy of blood transfusions and the management of chronic anemia. #womeninSTEM
