@emilykmay They have said marriage licenses won’t count. Frankly women ought to start legally changing their names back right now. But not everyone could afford to do that. Passports count but not everyone can afford one. So - many barriers in place for women.

@churchofeve@ask_aubry I went through much of the same. For those asking about parents - he would lie and say we were just kidding around and I was faking to get him in trouble. They always believed him. Once I had to run to a neighbor and I got in trouble for leaving the house.
