Today, Diani Walkers walked to Gazi to support the women of Gazi Women Mangrove Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is a key source of revenue for the community who manage it.
We took a walk through the 350 meters of the boardwalk, while enjoying the beautiful sight of nature, birds..
As an organization which supports the #environment and #health through our slogan #AStep4OneHealth, we were happy to learn the different ways the community works to conserve the environment.
@DianiWalkers walked more than 13km from Mvindeni Junction to Gazi Mangrove Women Boardwalk in Gazi. This was a great experience. We learnt a lot about mangrove species and why they are important in conservation and tackling climate change.

This Saturday, it's all about adventure as we walk to GAZI. Did you know that there is a colonial court in Gazi? Did you also know that there is a mangrove boardwalk made of recycled plastic and managed by the women in Gazi community?
We would like to help those unable to get blood in our Kwale Hospitals. If you need to partner with us or participate, kindly reach out to us for planning and information.
See you next Saturday 🥳
