Your journal now helps you notice more.
New Insights shows changes in your moods, tags, and daily activity over time, all in one private view.
Your entries stay private. Insights happen on your device.
Available now in Diarly.
Your journal is allowed to contain unfinished thoughts, contradictions, overreactions, and feelings you changed your mind about the next morning. It’s there to capture what being human actually felt like.
“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” — Marcus Aurelius
Pay attention to the way you speak to yourself when nobody else is listening.
You don’t have to write every day.
But every once in a while, it’s worth asking yourself:
“What have I been feeling that I still haven’t admitted out loud?”
Some days you don’t need a full entry. Just a small structure that helps you catch what’s real before it slips into a story.
1. What stayed with me today ___
2. What felt heavier than it should ___
3. What I might understand differently tomorrow ___
@allygill Can you please check if you have the "show metadata" turned on - Diarly > Settings > Timeline. New Version saves the Activities as metadata and displays theme outside of the text area.
Diarly 3.5.0 for macOS is live. The old Mac version wasn’t quite there after iPhone, so we rebuilt it. Today and All views are now on Mac, with a simpler sidebar and a more natural flow.
Check it out on the App Store: https://t.co/JlJjHOdeMQ
Years from now you won’t remember the exact day you wrote something. But you’ll remember someone’s name, the city you were in, or a moment that changed something in you. Tags help you find your way back to it.
