Here's the "end user" experience:

-Complain to the FRB, Evolve's primary fed regulator, who tells them to call Arkansas

-Arkansas takes the complaint, forwards it to Evolve

-Evolve says "we're not a program bank, call FINRA"

-FINRA has no authority to do anything

End user: what can we do? where can we go? Two weeks in between are unreal. I had to cash out my 401k. Another two weeks is devastating. It's wild how loosey-goosey we are about the data breach, too. It's just kind of shrugged off. We have no path. Our banks won't help us.

They are essentially different frontends for interacting with the same social media dataset...

@ACQuinn_ The haircut rule is a key piece that changes how the chain mints and converts HBD. HBD depeg events have happened, and the mechanisms in place have given it the resilience to recover. The hive community generally knows this and does not panic at $0.80 or $1.20.

I think #hive has approached @ACQuinn_ the wrong way.

It is his responsibility to PROVE his claim, not ours to dispute it.

Otherwise he is just engagement farming a community outside his normal scope.

And others thought it would develop thst utility over time. We all have our investment thesis and risk tolerance. I'm happy with eth, btc, and hive... among others...

@Farmsteader @JunoFinanceHQ @LensProtocol @hiveblocks Well Solana is a bit different, it doesn't use EVM, it's written using totally new code and even it's own language. It's pretty centralized due to its validator and block producer set and VC ownership of SOL token stake.
