@BBCPolitics Here you go. The Opposition Unity Myth is finally becoming obvious.
No VoC in an alternative PM => No PM to sign ext letter => No Ext => More pressure for MPs to agree a deal or otherwise => No Deal come 31 Oct.
@BBCPolitics There is no alternative PM who could win the required VoC. The only way to avoid No Deal is to legislate for an immediate GE now.
If they don’t do this now while they can it will be No Deal and they’ll be held responsible for it.
@BBCPolitics The Opposition are so unified that they brief the press separately. 😂
If a GNU was realistic why did they bother with the Surrender Act?
A beautiful irony that they will find themselves responsible for the No Deal they are so keen to stop.
@BBCPolitics The obvious issue is that the Opposition parties cannot agree on who should be PM. Now watch the list of names of potential candidates grow.
Even if they do agree a PM they will not win a VoC. No VoC => No PM to sign the Ext letter => No Deal.
@BBCPolitics BBC promotes words of newly Independent and Opposition MPs into their headlines as if they are gospel truth. Whilst prominent Opposition’s previous suggestions of stabbing, decapitation, lynching and ‘kicking the sh** out of’ people are glossed over without even modest challenge.
@jessphillips Have you considered that perhaps the people banging on your windows objected to your talk of stabbing your own party leader?
#TruthToHypocrisy
@BBCBreakfast@BBCPolitics@sajidjavid@jessphillips You featured the footage of Jess saying she’d stab her leader in the front not just the back and then simply let her brush that off as a harmless metaphor. Instead of challenging her you just let her continue to suggest the problem lies of the PM.
@lucyallan@ajcdeane They tried to force The PM’s hand precisely because they can’t agree a Govt & PM that could win VoC in the HoC. Even if they could, they know it would devastate them in the next GE. They explore options for Bercow to sign now because they now see a Unity PM looks so unlikely.
@Robert___Harris Probably based on the same pro remain thread showing market graph & suggesting deals since Boris became leader showed a massive correlated increase in volumes. However it was based upon a total misunderstanding of the data and use of completely the wrong graph!
😂
@PolhomeEditor VoNC is not the issue. It’s the VoC in a new PM that’s the problem! Labour are not united let alone the Opposition. No VoC=>No PM=>No Ext Letter=>No Deal.
@tomhfh The EU executive is blocking other EU countries ‘No deal’ preparations whilst free from democratic accountability for all the damage that will cause to the people and businesses of those countries.
A real and perfect example of the EU’s democratic deficit in action.
